      3) Emergency Management
      4) Equipment Considerations
      5) Review and Final Examination

Practical Rescue Training - this consists of 12 separate exercises:
      1) Tired diver
      2) Panic diver
      3) Response from shore/boat (conscious victim)
      4) Distressed diver underwater
      5) Missing diver
      6) Surfacing the unconscious diver

      Prerequisites for the course
Divers must be a minimum age of 15 years, holding a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Certification or have equivalent qualifications. Note that 20 dives must have been logged by the end of this course.
Divers must also hold a recognised First Aid certificate that includes resuscitation and CPR skills. Students not holding the above will need to complete an Emergency First Response course prior to certification as a Rescue Diver.
The cost includes all required course materials, pool fees and on successful completion of the course, certification but not equipment hire, (it is assumed at this level of training students will have their own equipment).
If students require Emergency First Response Certification, this can be booked at the beginning of the course and a combined fee arranged.
